An Electronics & Communications Engineer, Meera went on to do her MBA in Marketing before venturing into Mudra advertising agency. There, she handled client servicing for Dermicool and Livon for 2 yrs. Thereafter, she shifted to Divya Bhaskar as the Deputy GM for Activations in Gujarat. It was in 2012 that the entrepreneurial chromosome from her gene pool kicked in and she created her own brand. Hence, one year into her marriage, the first curated baby took shape in the name of Weekend Window. Today, it is loved and endorsed by 10+ international brands as sponsors, 1435+ homegrown brands as a platform to gain visibility and customers, and more than 6 lakh+ people as visitors over the past 10 years. It is Gujarat’s biggest and oldest flea market. Meera along with her husband Harshit created a category of evening and night shopping experiences that Gujarat lacked. Numerous homegrown brands get a platform to showcase their talent and find consumers that are aligned with their brand products or services. This year as they celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Weekend Window, Meera & Harshit aim at venturing into 10 cities across India with their festival – Weekend Window.
