Through education, Sahiba has been into Economics and Finance. She started her career back in 2013 as an Associate at the world’s biggest hedge fund, DE Shaw.
From here, she moved on to creating a one-of-kind EdTech product which bridged the gap between academia and industry. This venture was backed by IIT Bombay and well-funded by VCs like Matrix Partners. Economic Times recognised this as The Most Promising Startup in 2016. Sahiba exited this venture after a few years and pursued her passion for content.
She then consulted with global advertisers and publishers and helped them monetize their content through contextual advertising. This content know-how soon propelled brands to avail her expertise across the board, leading to Walnut Folks Group’s birth in 2018.
At the Walnut Folks Group, Sahiba has helped over 500 brands with their content & marketing, having created over 1Bn+ content views.
