Hi Everyone, I’m Shefali Mishra, I was born and brought up in Ahmedabad ,India. I was born on 13th August, 1993 and I belong to a middle-class family. I completed my schooling from St. Joseph School and I wanted to become a Judge or a Detective. Due to certain reasons, I selected I.T field soon after my schooling. The decision was not easy and I found it hard to pay attention on studies where I didn't have much interest. But, one day I decided that I needed to achieve succeed soon at my young age, and hence, I started focusing on my I.T learnings and amazingly it started to feel interesting. I was studying Master’s in Computer Application, Alongside, I started teaching to Bachelor degree students in one of the Academy. I love to teach where I can share my knowledge with everyone and with that, I could get a small amount of money that I used as a transportation charges. I would say ,I started my first earning at age of 19 with very small amount. I am inspired by “Kalpana Chawla”, the first woman of India to go to space. I always keep her in my mind, “If she can do it, so can I” this makes me more enthusiastic to work. After completing my Master Degree, I was selected in one of the most prestigious institute “Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar” as Database Administrator. I worked over there for more than 2+ year, Interacted with Professors at daily basis. I would say, interaction with many peoples also develop ourself, I did same. I learned a lot from them. I love to work and play with database that is of my interest. After leaving IIT, I got opportunity to work with one of financial organizations “S&P Global” as a Data Associate. S&P Global is world's foremost provider of transparent and independent ratings, benchmarks, analytics, data, research, commentary and ESG solution. I worked and learned Data Analysis, handled team for 3 years. With my skills and knowledge, I got the opportunity in 2021, to work with “Bank Of America” as Assistant Manager in data analytics team. Bank Of America is an American multinational investment bank and financial services holding company and a glad to be a part of this organization and I love to work here. Everyone have story of life or we create one, I came from middle class family and I have learned a lot from my brother and everyone whom I met in at my various stages of career and in my life. I have seen many struggles in my life and got many failures too, but I never stopped progressing. My life mantra is “I can do it”. Many a times I fail, but I stand up again and dust it up and I work on it to get it correct and learn. From my childhood, I decided that I want to earn enough so that if anyone asks for a help, I shall help at least ¾th of that. I am on my way and I have reached half of my way. Thank You.
